Sub helper Electrician training with basic computer and spoken English
Under the skill development program, 41 trainees were selected from forest areas within the South Forest Division Betul for a 30-day training course. The training, conducted at Van Vidyalaya (Forest School), has been successfully completed. Out of the 41 trainees, 34 beneficiaries have secured placements with Radha Enterprises, Tenneco Clean, and India Private Limited in Peetampur District, Dhar. The remaining 7 trainees have embarked on self-employment by starting their own businesses. The primary objective of this training was to provide employment opportunities to the children of the forest samiti, thereby enhancing their skills and improving their livelihood prospects.
On February 1, 2024, in the Samnapur Range, sewing kits and bags were distributed to women undergoing sewing training. Mr. N.S. Yadav, Joint Director, Mr. Sanjay Kumar, I.G. Balaghat, Mr. Anuj Saxena, Chairman of the Leading Development Society Sivani, were present, along with the Eco-Development Committee presidents. Additionally, IG Sir provided guidance to students of Samnapur Buffer Kanha Jungle Mitra Library for their competitive exams. Discussions were also held with women in training and Eco-Development Committee chairpersons.
On February 1, 2024, 15 students attended the driving training in Bisakhani Forest Zone, and NEWS 18’s Baitul Director Rishu Naidu visited for videography.
